EDM Graphite electrode is widely used in different industry. In Europe, more than 90% of the electrode material is

graphite material. And for electrospark , the graphite electrode block is also common used. As spark oil also contains C,

high temperature causes C in spark oil to be decomposed during discharge processing, which in turn forms a protective

film on the surface of EDM graphite electrode and compensates for the loss of graphite electrode.EDM graphite electrode advantages:

1.Faster processing speed. Under normal circumstances, the machining speed of graphite can be 2 -5 times faster than

copper, and the discharge speed is 3-5 times faster than copper.

2.Graphite material is less prone to deformation, and Graphite Mold has obvious advantages in the processing. And it

is easy to machine.

3.Graphite Mould is weigh less. The density of graphite is only 1/5 of that of copper, and it can effectively reduce the

burden of machine tool (EDM) when large electrode is used for discharge machining, so it is more suitable for

application on large Graphite Die mold.

4.It takes less to discharge. As spark oil also contains C , high temperature causes C in spark oil to be decomposed during

loss of graphite electrode.
